Kids Park CX Fun

A couple of weeks ago was the last installment of the Oklahoma City Kids Park CX race. The weather turned out being much friendlier to us than the last Kids Park foray. I competed in the first round race at 1 pm, jumped off the steed and snapped a couple of shots for the second race. Turns out I didn't get much time to shoot the thing. I forgot that I have the most beautiful, caring, sweet, and good looking pregnant wife on the globe. .....and she was hungry. Maverick needs her nourishment, I know I know.

So here are the goods. Gander.

Hunzicker fun

I'll say it again. I've neglected this blog for quite sometime.
Life has been fast and fun. But blogging has not been at the top of my list.

So I'm planning on sharing a bit more of my work with everyone. I've been doing a ton of client work lately and hope to post it here with more consistency.

I met with the Hunzicker family early this week on a family project. You know. Christmas cards, family stuff, and fun kiddo frames. I had known Andrew from Rocktown Gym. Him and his wife Nicole are the glue that holds Touchtone Youth Project together here in OKC. It's a wonderful program, check it out.

They got their family together and met me at the Gardens downtown for a quick little sesh in the cold, wet and dark weather of last Sunday. Lighting was rough, and I gave them the option of rescheduling but they said it was on. So I cranked up the ISO, and we had a wonderful time running through the mud, wet grass and urban jungle. Those dudes are Wild, Daring, and Adventurous. Exactly what boys should be.

Here are a couple of frames from our day. Cheers Hunzicker family!!!!

Maverick Rae Chasteen

Nicki and I will welcome Maverick Rae into our world sometime in March/April of 2010. The amount of emotions that have ran through my body the past couple months have humbled, frightened, excited, and warmed my soul. I don't have the words to speak, and my elated tears cannot reach through the superhighway. Overwhelmed with affection....

Getting ready for Maverick
